Just a week after her YouTube account was shut down for copyright infringement, [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Lady Gaga[/lastfm]‘s British website was invaded by hackers.
According to Music-News.com, the hackers accessed the email addresses and names of several fans on her database. Universal Music says they shouldn’t worry much, though.

The record label released the following statement after the incident: “The hacker took a content database dump and a section of email, first and last name records were accessed. There were no passwords taken and no financial information taken.”
The label also contacted the people whose details were accessed and informed the Information Commissioner’s Office and the British Phonographic Industry about the incident.
