Executive Producer of American Idol Nigel Lythgoe announced this morning on Ryan Seacrest’s radio program that [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Steven Tyler[/lastfm], Randy Jackson, and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Jennifer Lopez[/lastfm] have all re-signed for next season, with J-Lo getting the most significant pay raise!

Sources are reporting that newly divorced Jennifer Lopez will be paid $20 million for the upcoming season, a huge raise after making only $12 million last season.

I know, I know. You should never have to say “only” and “$12 million” in the same sentence, but that’s just how it goes sometimes.

Steven Tyler will also reportedly be receiving a pay raise, even though he has 1 year to go on his contract, although it is not known at this time by how much.

Lythgoe said, “I am delighted to say that all three judges, along with the brilliant host of American Idol are back for the next season.”

Somewhere Randy Jackson is left wondering, “Damn dog, when am I getting MY pay raise?”
