[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]No Doubt[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Nicole Scherzinger[/lastfm] and punk rock group [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Rise Against[/lastfm] claim their Twitter accounts were hacked!
The hacker tweeted a show of support for Republican Presidential candidate Ron Paul and now the artists are crying foul.

The 3 victimized artists are all currently signed to Interscope Records, which is leading police in the right direction as far as finding a suspect.
The tweets were all removed within hours but this is what they said:
From No Doubt:
“Today We Officially Endorse Ron Paul 2012 Donate to him here #ronpaulrevolution” with a link to donate, followed by: “If you actually read what Ron Paul is saying, you will discover that for the first time in your life a politician is not lying to you.”
The group later posted:
Our Twitter account was hacked last night. No political endorsements at this time. Love, No Doubt—

From Nicole Scherzinger:
“For the first time ever a politician isn’t lying to us. WAKE UP AMERICA! Ron Paul 2012 I Love this Guy #RonPaulRevolution”
She did not follow up with a response Tweet after the hacking incident.
Lastly, from Rise Against:
“We endorse Ron Paul this 2012 too. We love you Ron! #ronpaulrevolution” with a link to donate to Paul’s campaign.
The band later posted:
We were hacked. As you would all assume, We DO NOT support Ron Paul.—

Had the artists legitimately supported Ron Paul, they would have joined [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Kelly Clarkson[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Michelle Branch[/lastfm] as musicians on board with the Texas Congressman.
@kelly_clarkson I wholeheartedly agree. #RonPaul—
