He can play guitar, but did you know he could dance? Exciting news broke this morning that Gavin DeGraw will join the next season of Dancing With the Stars.

In addition to Gavin, also in the cast are:

• The View co-host Sherri Shepard
• Child star Melissa Gilbert
• Soap Actor Jack Wagner
• Telenovela star William Levy
• Opera singer Katherine Jenkins
• Football player Donald Driver
• Disney Channel star Roshon Fegan
• Former tennis player Martina Navratilova

Gavin broke the news this morning via Twitter:

Appearing on the show will not be easy for Gavin as he will run into scheduling conflicts for much of the first month, according to TMZ.

The show makes its premiere on March 19th and his tour continues through mid April, which could pose a problem for Gavin if he hopes to cut his best rug.

Apparently, his partner Karina Smirnoff will join him on tour so they do not skip a beat…now that’s dedication!
