Most people aren’t happy to be stuck in the hospital. But most people aren’t Pink.

Yesterday (May 31) the singer tweeted a black and white photo of herself hooked up to an IV, sipping from a straw and oddly enough, smiling away.

Makes you wonder what’s really in that cup. But Pink said the reason for the happy face was simple:

Pink, who gave birth to her own daughter, Willow Sage, last year, assured all her fans she was doing better, sort of:

Thanks for all the get well wishes. And no-they don’t give morphine for flu. I might have ulcers again. Because I care too much. It’s a gift

Though the “Raise Your Glass” singer is currently laying low, she has plans to release a new album in the near future. Though no release date has been announced, Pink recently told Cosmopolitan that recording this album will be much different than 2008′s Funhouse.

“I’m used to going into the studio and smoking and drinking until three in the morning,” she said. “But I can’t drink as much because I’m breastfeeding.”

Motherhood has also led Pink to give up smoking. “I’ve exercised a lot of my demons, but I’m still working on myself,” she admitted. “I think I’ll be a work in progress for the rest of my life.”
