  • When is MixFest?
    MixFest will be held at the DCR Hatch Memorial Shell on Saturday, September 14, 2013.
  • How much to get in?
    MixFest is FREE!
  • What time should we get there?
    The gates officially open at 1pm. Music starts at 4pm.
  • What’s the schedule of bands?
    Our “15 Seconds of Fame” winner will open the show just after 4:00pm, Gavin DeGraw goes on at 4:25pm, Backstreet Boys take the stage at 5:45pm, and Of Monsters and Men will close out the show starting at 6:45pm. The show will end around 8pm. Note that all set times are approximate and subject to change.
  • How do we get there?
    We strongly advise you take public transportation. Charles/MGH on the Red Line and Science Park on the Green Line are the closest T stops to the show. We’ve got a venue guide for the DCR Hatch Memorial Shell that gives you all the details.
  • Where can I park?
    This year, there will be no parking allowed on Storrow Drive. If you are driving to the concert, we recommend parking at area garages.
  • Is there handicapped parking on Storrow Drive?
    No, there will not be handicapped parking on Storrow Drive. However, there is a handicapped-only drop-off site on Storrow Drive, near the Community Boat House. Handicapped individuals can be dropped off here. Cars will then need to be parked off site.
  • Can I bring a bag?
    Backpacks, large bags, coolers and blankets will not be allowed. Small bags and beach towels are fine. Only sealed, plastic water bottles will be allowed into the venue. All bags will be subject to a discretionary search. Food and snacks are allowed.
  • Can I bring my camera?
    Of course! It’s an outdoor park, cameras are acceptable.
  • What about inclement weather?
    MixFest will be held rain or shine.
  • Can we bring beer and grills?
    No. No alcohol or grilling is permitted at the DCR Hatch Shell. No coolers will be allowed either. Only sealed, plastic water bottles will be allowed into the venue.
