Listen below to the new single from Mumford & Sons, “I Will Wait,” from the breakout folk band’s hugely anticipated second album Babel that Mix 104.1 premiered on the air Tuesday afternoon. Just as Mix Music Director Mike Mullaney described it, the new song echoes the same driving rhythms and anthemic, heartfelt choruses of their big hits “Little Lion Man” and “The Cave.”

It drops right in with a fast-paced musical attack before busting into the vocals, where Marcus Mumford sounds even more confident than he did on the band’s debut album Sigh No More.

The production is also notably sharper and more polished, which can only increase the chances of “I Will Wait” becoming another hit.
