This month’s FITNESS magazine came out today! Yes, just another day for the magazine, but so special for us. TEAM BROOKE’S story is shared! (page 20 ) As you all know we ran the Boston Marathon in April this year, and for a great cause. Tracy, Kelli and I ran for our beautiful friend, Brooke. Brooke was diagnosed in 2010 with Stage 4 Colon cancer, and fought a good fight for the past two years. She passed away one day after the marathon. To this day, we believe she waited for us to finish the race. Tracy, Kelli and I raised $15,000 for the Vernon Cancer Center at Newton Wellesley Hospital, for cancer research. This is a story of support, friendship, and kindness. Paying it forward and loving one another, because as we know, life goes on, and Angels watch out for the rest of us.
