How would you react when one of the most recognizable women on the planet stops by your retail store? Framingham got a great surprise Thursday when billionaire media mogul Oprah Winfrey stopped by Target and Bed, Bath and Beyond for a shopping trip with students from her Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls.

She also paid a visit to the students while they were at Boston College, where they are currently on a summer program. Oprah herself tweeted pictures with the kids as they went “dorm shopping.”

Accounts of fans who were lucky enough to meet Oprah while she was out had only good things to say. Framingham resident Mario Alvarez told Framingham Patch that she was “the most down-to-earth celebrity I’ve ever met.”

But if this picture with a fan is any indication, she wasn’t thrilled at everybody who approached her.
