In case you missed it, Hollywood movie legend Clint Eastwood delivered a guest speech at the Republican National Convention Thursday night that stole the show, particularly because he spent most of the speech talking to an empty chair.
While Eastwood had an interesting idea for how to conduct his speech – that is, having a fake conversation with an invisible President Obama – it didn’t go over quite as well as he may have expected with the Twitter crowd. He also has instantly inspired an internet meme based just on his speech, and even a parody Twitter account @InvisibleObama that has since been suspended.
Here’s 25 more great reactions to Clint Eastwood’s amazingly surreal speech from the Boston area on Twitter.
