Fresh off scouting Mass. locations and putting out a casting call, Larry David is now ready to film his new movie Clear History in several parts of the Bay State. But the shoot isn’t beginning on the North Shore, as was previously reported. Filming reportedly starts Monday in Andover.
According to the Inside Track, today’s shoot will take place in an empty mansion on a residential street in Andover. Well, since there are about 9,356,232,656,234,776,469 mansions in Andover it will be hard to pinpoint which one the crew emptied for filming.
Still, there’s plenty of chances for locals in the Merrimack Valley to get a glimpse of A-list talent as the shoot takes place. The film reportedly has a stacked cast that includes Jon Hamm (Mad Men), Kate Hudson, Danny McBride (Eastbound and Down), Amy Ryan (Gone Baby Gone), Bill Hader (Saturday Night Live), Michael Keaton and Eva Mendes.
The plot concerns a formerly successful car salesman (played by David) who loses his job and marriage and vacations at a summer home to take his mind off the stress, only to run into his former boss (Hamm) who wants to renovate his home. And then a wacky revenge plot kicks in, which we can be sure will contain some ridiculous twists & turns.
You can imagine that, with the all-star cast lining up to work with David, the movie could be quite hilarious, especially with the comic minds involved. Hamm has even become known for his surprising comedic turns with a recurring role on 30 Rock and several surprise appearances on SNL.
