First Price Is Right Male Model Scores Permanent Job On Show

Karson & Kennedy / Mix 104.1

History has been made on the beloved CBS game show, The Price Is Right. Local boy, Rob Wilson of Grafton, Mass. is the first male model to ever appear on the long running game show. The model gig was originally supposed to be a test run, but when Rob joined the Mix 104.1 morning show on Tuesday, he had some breaking news to share with the gang.

“Well that’s the thing, I got some amazing news over the weekend before the first episode even aired,” Rob told Karson, Kennedy, and Salt. “The producers called me, and I got picked up for the show!”

So it looks like the trial run has become a full time job for Rob. His mother, who still lives here in Framingham could not be more excited for her son, “She’s pumped!” Rob says.

For the rest of the interview, including Rob’s possible likeness to Red Sox center fielder Jacoby Ellsbury, and whether he thinks he is being exploited because of his looks, click below to listen.
