The wonderful a cappella Pitch Slapped from the Berklee College of Music in Boston came by the studio this morning to share, live, their rendition of the national anthem with Karson, Kennedy and Salt before they sing it at the TD Garden tonight for the Celtics home opener. Karson and Kennedy were among those on the panel that decided which group or performer should have the honor of singing this anthem for the Celtics in the first place, so when they told Salt it was spectacular, they knew what they were talking about. At least Salt got to hear it live once, since his tickets to this game have been, shall we say, redistributed. Pitch Slapped also sang a bit of Good Life originally by One Republic, which sounded stupendous, as you might expect. Check out this amazingly talented group of vocalists here!
