Boston’s Aerosmith recently recorded a version of one of their newest singles, Legendary Child as an anthem for their hometown New England Patriots, so it’s no surprise that the leader of the Patriots would return the favor.
Tom Brady, beloved quarterback of the Pats will introduce the band on Monday, November 5th when they play before an assembled crowd for a free show outside their old Allston/Brighton residence at 1325 Commonwealth Ave. Aerosmith lead singer Steven Tyler confirmed the introduction by Brady in an interview given to Mix 104.1’s Gregg Daniels.

The outdoor concert has been in the works for some time now, and only came to light two weeks ago when the band announced they’d play somewhere in Boston. The actual address was released last Friday on NBC’s Today Show.
No word on whether any other Patriots players will be on hand for the performance.
