Kevin Clash, the current man who voices Elmo, is accused of having a relationship with a boy previously who was underage  This relationship happened in the past and both have agreed to it, but the accuser came out saying he was 16 years old at the time.

Recently, new news in the scandal has surface and it looks like the accuser got paid off. Kennedy mentions how they both must be held under legality where they cannot discuss it further, but it seems the accuser was just looking for a payday.
