According to a recent study, the average girlfriend or wife is expecting almost $500 dollars in gifts this year, while conversely, the average boyfriend or husband is expecting around $320 worth of gifts.

However, listener Erica is expecting something north of $1,000 dollars spent on gifts for her, while she spends about $300 on her significant other. Salt, in particular, thinks this is outrageous, although Karson says that he dropped around $1,000 on his wife after they had been seeing each other for a few years.
