According to the Department of Justice, 10% of Americans are the victims of credit card fraud each year, attributing to over $5 billion in theft.
With PINs like the ones seen below, it’s not hard to understand why. These 10 PINs are the most common, therefore are the least safe and most susceptible to crooks.

This study was conducted by DataGenetics, and they found, among a host of other things, that credit card thieves are so good at what they do that they can correctly guess more than 25 percent of stolen card PINs within 20 attempts.
Credit card fraud can happen to anyone, but by creating a more challenging PIN, it makes it all the more difficult.
