‘Rugrats’ Creator Finally Reveals The Truth About That Disturbing Conspiracy Theory

by Alisha Jackson

If you grew up in the 90’s, then you’ve probably heard of the disturbing Rugrats conspiracy theory, “Rugrats Never Happened.” It’s reminiscent of the whole Berenstein vs. Berenstain Bears conspiracy theory (if you haven’t heard of that one, there goes any chance you had of productivity today).

The Rugrats Never Happened theory speculates that all of the kids were made up in Angelica’s head, as a way to cope with her negligent parents. For a detailed synopsis of the demented point of view, we turn to Tumblr.

Creepy, right? Well thankfully, it’s wrong. After years of speculation, creator Arlene Klasky finally debunked the myth during a panel at San Diego Comic-Con.

“A lot of people believe that conspiracy theory and no, it’s not true,” she confirmed.

according to the creator of rugrats, that dark theory isn't true
