Amy Schumer Implied Her Show Was Cancelled But Confirms It Is Not

Amy Schumer has found her way into yet another Twitter controversy.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Inside Amy Schumer star had a scuffle on Twitter “in which she condemned friend and comedian Kurt Metzger over his comments about sexual assault. Metzger has written for her show before even though Amy “posted multiple times that ‘he is not a writer on my show.'”

The Mostly Sex Stuff visionary ended up tweeting “I didn’t fire Kurt. He isn’t a writer for my show because we aren’t making the show anymore. There are no writers for it.” She can’t recover from that one — she flat our said “we aren’t making the show anymore.” Clearly, that implies it’s done, but earlier today she decided to clarify.

“#InsideAmySchumer is not cancelled. @ComedyCentral has provided us with a wonderful home and we couldn’t be happier there. I am just touring.” Who knows what’s happening…here’s her full response:
