Japan’s Prime Minister Dressed Up As Super Mario For Rio Olympics Closing Ceremony

Tokyo 2020 is already off to a fantastic start!

At the 2016 Rio Olympics Closing Ceremony last night, japan’s Prime Minister dressed up as Super Mario in front of the entire world. He even rose to the stage in classic Mario fashion by means of a green tube.

It’s a shame we have to wait four more years to see what happens next with their performances. His entrance was so epic that it definitely has cemented Japan’s name in the history books. We can only hope video games and their characters will play a major role in the 2020 games.
