Yesterday, OneRepublic returned to where the band first formed for the NFL’s official kickoff concert at Colorado’s Civic Center Park. The free show also featured country artist Dierks Bentley, who played nine songs for the crowd, according to Hey Reverb.
OneRepublic’s peformance of their new single, “Kids,” was the only one that made it to air, but thanks to fan-shot footage, we learned that the band also played their hits “Apologize,” “Secrets,” and “Love Runs Out” for the crowd.
We couldn’t find a video of “Love Runs Out,” but Oklahama-native Tedder can be heard telling the crowd “there’s that altitude kicking in” after he performed it. You can hear him say it during the intro to the next song they performed, “Secrets.”
Tedder introduced “Apologize” with a beautifully improvised piano solo.
Then the cameras turned on for “Kids.” Watch OneRepublic sing their new single below!
Couldn’t make it to Denver yesterday? OneRepublic will be performing at this year’s Mixfest concert on Saturday, September 17th for free, too! The band will be joined by Ingrid Michaelson and Shaggy at the DCR Hatch Memorial Shell in Boston. For more info on Mixfest, click here!
