If you caught Adele at the TD Garden on Wednesday or Thursday night, good move, because the singer may not be coming back to Boston until 2026.
According to sources close to the singer, she wants to take a solid decade off from touring in order to take on the role of full-time mother to her son, Angelo.
“Angelo is the number one priority for Adele,” a source told Us Weekly. “He is the most important thing in her life. She has brought him everywhere with her on tour but as he is starting school next year, he won’t be able to join her any more. Adele doesn’t want to miss a moment of Angelo growing up and it’s an easy decision for her to give up touring for him.”
If Adele does take a decade off from touring (it hurts just writing about the possibility), fans may still be able to catch her out in Vegas.
“She is going to consider doing a Las Vegas residency — something which has already been put on the table,” the source added. “A regular Vegas show appeals to her because it is in one place and she would be able to maintain a normal life, but it won’t happen for a number of years.”
Hey, if it works for Britney Spears and her boys, why couldn’t it work for Adele and Angelo?
