There’s a new poll out that says 8% of people can’t even remember what was under the tree for them last year.
For that matter, 15% of people got a gift they didn’t even want, but hey, it’s the thought that counts, right?
By the way, that 15% may not seem like a lot, but it represents over 80 million gifts given at the holidays last year.
And at an average of $48 a gift, that could be $384 billion in wasted money, worldwide.
Maybe we should just give gift cards…
